**Press release**
A magical North Pole Post Office is coming to Skipton this year!
From the 30th November it will arrive in time for children to post their letters to Santa in the magical post box before the big day arrives. The Post Office is funded by Skipton BID and will be located in the vacant unit next to Pizza Express, the unit has kindly been supplied by Glentrool Asset Management Limited.
Children can call in every weekend until the 22nd December, write a letter to Santa and post it to the North Pole using the talking postbox. There will be Santa’s Elves to greet them and help them write their letter.
The unit will be completely transformed by Odin Events, using an array of Christmas props and theming elements to make the space unrecognisable from the inside and out.
Sarah Howsen, Skipton BID Manager said: “We are thrilled to be able to bring this FREE magical event to Skipton. Skipton BID bring free events to the town throughout the year so all children can experience fun and unique experiences. The North Pole Post Office allows every child to send their letter to Santa, and are guaranteed a response! It is a brilliant addition to the events calendar taking place for Christmas in Skipton”
The North Pole Post Office is in addition to the Santa Fun Run and Christmas Lights Switch On, taking place on the 24th November, the Artisan Market on the Canal Basin on the 1st December and the Christmas markets on 1st and 8th December.
