Studfold Adventure Trail in Lofthouse, near Pateley Bridge was one of our favourite days out in 2020. It is a fairy trail but with a difference.
Studfold is located in Lofthouse in the heart of Nidderdale (HG3 5SG). The trail will take you around 3 hours as there are so many things to stop off and see on the way. From den building to go karts, bird watching to fairy villages. There is so much to see and do and its all interactive.
One of the loveliest things about Studfold is that there is a cafe which will deliver your lunch to you in a basket to the barn which is half way round. This picnic spot is beautiful with views down the valley, toilet stop and a playground which has just undergone a makeover for 2021.
The trail has an activity sheet to complete on the way around with things to find, things to do and the magical code to collect that gets you into the final section of the pixie woods.
I won’t say too much about the trail but you can see from the photos that it is lovingly put together, is a real treat for all the family and we cannot wait to visit again this year to see what other additions there are.
There is also a campsite and glamping pods so you can make the most of your stay. Try out Brimham Rocks which is close by too.
